Hello there! It’s been so long since I posted here! No, I haven’t become too busy with life and given up on pleasures like sewing
No, I haven’t become too busy with life and pushed sewing into the oblivion. Rather, I have been sewing so much that I just couldn’t make time to blog about it all! In fact, I also contributed to Kid’s Clothes Week last season. Did you get a chance to check out any of my posts? That was a fun gig!
Do you know that alittlepaperboat is also on Instagram? If you already follow me, you might have caught glimpses of my work these past two months. If you don’t, then well, here’s a little collage for you:
Whew! That’s a long list! And I am sure I have missed some! Now you know what I was up to when I was gone! 😀
At long last, I found time to snag some decent pics of one project – one that I made last year!
No, I am not cheating! This costume is getting used only this year as V was sick around Halloween last time. And I do have a brand new project for you to see shortly. It will be up soon. Promise.
But for now, treat yourself to a little warmth from Ms. Penguin!
I love this costume! It’s so easy to make too! I made it from this excellent tutorial.
The bodice of the costume closes with a zipper so you can put it on/off just like a regular dress! How cool!
And the fleece keeps her so fluffy and warm! Perfect for fall!
V actually wanted to be a fairy this year; which is why I made her the Tulle skirt that you saw in the collage above. But I never got around to buying the wings and the wand! So Penguin it is for now 🙂
What’s you child going to be this Halloween? Have you made/bought her costume yet? Do tell me in the comments!
‘Til then, Enjoy the Spookiness!
Happy Halloween! 😉
